Full Set and Fuller announce publishing partnership
Full Set is partnering with Fuller, the award-winning global newsroom dedicated to groundbreaking reporting that catalyses positive change for women and gender-diverse people, to launch a publishing programme of three essays to be published in ebook, audiobook and paperback print on demand.
A version of each essay will be distributed first online by Fuller as part of its monthly topic-led editions before being published by Full Set as a standalone title. The first essay, on the topic of motherhood, will be by Berlin-based writer Zara Rahman – title and more details will be announced later this month.
“Writing about motherhood for Fuller highlighted many issues facing mothers – one of which was limited time available,” Rahman said. “Having my essay available in audiobook and ebook is a fantastic way of increasing the chances that mothers (and others who are short on time!) can access the ideas I wrote about."

Both organisations see this partnership, announced at London Book Fair, as an opportunity to reach audiences across book distribution platforms with high-quality journalism.
The partnership, which is currently a three-title pilot, seeks to elongate the lifecycle of Fuller’s longform work. The initiative will test audience interest in engaging with journalistic output in environments other than news distribution channels.
Speaking about the partnership, at the London Book Fair, Full Set publisher and co-founder, Blathnaid Healy said, “Full Set was founded at the intersection of publishing and journalism and we’re privileged to partner with Fuller on this exciting initiative to bring its journalism to new audiences. Fuller is known for its award-winning and impactful journalism, which leads to real world change. Eliza and her team have a track record of taking on new and ambitious projects making them the perfect partners for this pilot programme.”
“As a small, independent newsroom, Fuller has always been interested in partnerships,” said Eliza Anyangwe, Editor-in-chief of Fuller. “As the challenges for journalism deepen, the pilot with Full Set provides us with an opportunity not only to explore new revenue streams but also to reach new audiences and to create a body of work that meets people in a myriad new ways. The incredible accomplishments of the Full Set team across journalism and publishing have given us the confidence to step into the unknown. I'm excited for the journey ahead, starting with Zara Rahman's essay."
Speaking about the partnership Rahman said, "I'm honoured that my essay is part of this partnership. Sharing my work in accessible formats has always been so important to me.”
Further titles will be announced closer to their publishing dates and will feature work from Fuller’s forthcoming editions.
